Fee:

£400 per week rehearsal

£550 per week performance

Pro rata on a 6 day week

Inclusive of travel and expenses

The overall style for the music in the show is commercial pop/contemporary musical theatre so please can audition song choices reflect this.

The venue is a 250 seater, The historic Borough Hall in the heart of the market town of Godalming, Surrey. This will be Guildford Fringe’s 3rd professional pantomime in Godalming.

Casting breakdown:

We are looking for a diverse cast of performers to make up the company of Cinderella.

Cinderella – A modern Cinderella. Likeable, strong and kind with a great musical theatre/pop voice and strong dance ability. Age 18-30

Fairy G – Not your average Fairy Godmother. This is a leading role, centrally featured throughout the show. A young, modern, feisty and streetwise fairy with a big dose of magic and a sparkle in her eye. We are looking for a very strong pop vocalist with a high belt and great dancer. Age 20-40

Buttons – Classic loveable rogue. Great audience rapport and comedy timing. Great musical theatre/pop voice and movement skills. Age 20 – 45

Astra (Ugly Sister) – Great comedy timing, audience rapport and a flair for the absurd. Astra and Zeneca are rude, grotesque and silly. Great musical theatre/pop voice and movement skills.  Age 25-50

Zeneca (Ugly Sister) – Great comedy timing, audience rapport and a flair for the absurd. Astra and Zeneca are rude, grotesque and silly. Great musical theatre/pop voice and movement skills.  Age 25-50

Prince Charming – Rather silly & lacking confidence, Prince Charming grows in confidence throughout the show. A likeable, charming actor with great comedy skills, strong musical theatre/pop vocals and strong dance ability. Age 20-30
