CELEBRATE Halloween in bold, sassy style as Guildford Fringe bring you the première of The High Octane Club Burlesque & Cabaret at the Electric Theatre in Guildford at 8pm on Saturday, October 28.

Leave your inhibitions at the door, and come and let loose at this night of burlesque, comedy, music and magic!

Your host for the evening is Lady Alex and she can’t wait to introduce you to an impressive array of performances from guests Bonnie Fleur, Griffin & Jones, Faye Feline and Tricity Vogue, but please take note: this wicked Halloween celebration is strictly over 18s only.

Once described as ‘Bette Midler on acid’, Lady Alex’s fiery blend of no-nonsense compering, comedy and fire burlesque performance has been a regular feature of the cabaret scene.  Lady Alex has been swallowing fire, twirling tassels and causing anarchy in the audience for the Wam Bam club for the last ten years as well as other venue across all the UK and abroad.  Watch out: sometimes she bites!

Ready to own the stage, you’re in for a very special performance from Bonnie Fleur: a burlesque artist with an ease to tease with no ‘please’!

The Pioneers of Slapdash Magic, Griffin & Jones are award-winning idiots who have become famous for their fast banter, tight chemistry, contagious energy and show-stopping wizardry.  Whether trying to flog you their own brand of snake-oil or coerce you into playing one of their ridiculous games, these guys will not only leave you asking how they did it, but also why…

Faye Feline is a neo-burlesque performer based in Leicester, whose varied acts always add a comic twist or alternative edge to more traditional burlesque themes and styles.  This Halloween, prepare to be taken on a trip to the darker side of burlesque as she draws you in with two character-led acts and takes you along on their journey – but where will they lead you?

Charming, offbeat musical cabaret from a vintage songstress, Tricity Vogue brings a repertoire of surprising tunes and a colourful history of romantic misadventure.  This ukulele-strumming cabaret performer presents her own blend of slink and sass: a musical concoction that she likes to call “cheeky jazz” – Think Peggy Lee after a few too many cocktails.

Although dressing up is far from compulsory, there will be a prize for the best Halloween, Burlesque or Vintage costume, so get planning your outfit now for the ultimate Halloween night out.

Advanced booking is certainly recommended for this night of debauchery and immorality.  Tickets are £18 (£15 concessions) + Electric Theatre booking fees and they’re on sale now!  To book yours, please call 0333 666 3366 or visit
