MUSICAL comedy entertainers Nigel Munson & Timothy Bond are bringing their festive treat to the heart of Guildford, and it promises to be a sleigh ride through the very best of Christmas. Expect Christmas No 1 medleys, an impromptu nativity play and all your favourite Christmas songs in this homage to the old Christmas TV specials of the likes of Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra.

Nigel has a problem. He loves Christmas, and he thought his musical comedy partner Tim did as well. It turns out Tim wants to give it a miss this year, and so now Nigel only has 90 minutes (plus interval) to prove just how wonderful the most wonderful time of the year is, otherwise the show’s over and he’ll have to send the pressies back to Uncle Amazon…

Nigel Munson says, Munson & Bond’s Winter Wonderland is a fun-filled frothy festive feel-good fab-time show, and I defy anyone to come and not leave with a smile on their face, and joy and love in their heart.

Timothy Bond says, “I can’t wait till January.”

Nigel & Tim are seasoned entertainers. They both lived and performed in Guildford for many years, so are very pleased to be making this festive homecoming. Nigel has been busy touring as an actor-musician in shows including King Arthur, Macbeth and The Jolly Christmas Postman, as well as hosting endless interactive comedy nights up and down the country. Tim is an excellent pianist and vocalist. He has supported the likes of Freddie Mercury on his recent solo tour, was a session musician on Kurt Cobain’s jazz album, and most recently opened for Darius at the O2.

He says, “I’m used to doing serious work. Being press-ganged into this kind of moronic exploitative nostalgic nonsense really aggravates me. But hey, some idiots love this rubbish.”

One thing is for sure – if you love Christmas music, cracker jokes and that warm feeling that comes when you’re surrounded by friends you only see once a year while drunk on mulled wine, then this is the show for you. Put it in your advent calendar now!
