A DIVINE way to welcome the Festive season, Guildford Fringe is delighted to present The High Octane Club Burlesque & Cabaret Christmas Special at the Electric Theatre in Guildford at 8pm on Saturday, December 2.  This sexy, titillating and naughty night of burlesque, comedy, music and variety is strictly to be enjoyed by over 18s only.

You’re in for a real treat: ready to tantalise and tease, your hostesses with the mostest for the evening include Amber Topaz, Elsie Diamond, Gemma Louise Rix and Miss Glory Pearl.

She wowed you with her sell-out one-woman show The Rude Awakening – Sex, Shame and Liberation at Guildford Fringe Festival earlier this year and now the beautifully lethal Amber Topaz returns to Guildford.  Amber won the Alternative Eurovision at the Underbelly Festival, and was crowned Bohemian Queen of Burlesque at the Bohemian Burlesque Festival in Prague and Italian GQ’s Top Burlesque Artist of 2015.  She’s on a winning streak.  Always with modestly placed sparkles.

Elsie Diamond is an international burlesque performer, cabaret singer and compere.  Inspired by the music hall tradition of comic song, opera, pop culture and a background in costume design, Miss Diamond has an eclectic repertoire of sultry routines.  Be it wartime classics, 18th century satire or classic fan dance, one thing’s for sure: Elsie will add a vintage sparkle to grace any occasion.

Aerialist, dancer and burlesque performer Gemma Louise Rix trained at the Italia Conti Arts Centre in Guildford where she gained her diploma in performing arts.  She has been performing professionally worldwide for 6 years.  Gemma’s main apparatus is the aerial lyra but can also be seen performing on aerial silks, pole and her new piece of apparatus the aerial lollipop, and will always contort herself when required…

The UK’s leading Burly-Pole artist, Miss Glory Pearl’s enthralling cabaret act blends classic burlesque with pole dance, static trapeze and aerial hoop.  Her quick wit, impeccable manners and deep cleavage smoothed her entry into Tunbridge Wells society where she can oft be spied winking lasciviously at tradesmen and flashing her knickers at passers-by – mostly inadvertently.  By night, Miss Pearl can be found sprinkling sparkles and glamour across the stages of the world, enchanting audiences with her effervescent mix of charm, aerial skill and good old-fashioned concupiscence.

Although dressing up is far from compulsory, there will be a prize for the best Christmas-themed, burlesque or vintage costume, so get riffling through your wardrobe and dress to impress.

Advanced booking is certainly recommended for this night of debauchery and immorality.  Tickets are £18 (£15 concessions) + Electric Theatre booking fees and they’re on sale now!  To book yours, please call 0333 666 3366 or BOOK HERE
